The iron removal method in the beneficiation process of potassium feldspar includes: crushing potassium feldspar with a crusher, feeding the crushed materials into a roller screen for screening, and feeding the particles with a particle size of less than 6 mm into a ball mill for grinding into fine powder. The method is characterized in that it also includes the following process steps.

A. Mud washing: the 20-200 mesh fine powder material is sent to the spiral chute for separation and separation to select the sediment;

B. Separation: the material removed from the sediment after separation is sent to the shaker to wash out ferric oxide;

C. Cleaning: the material removed from ferric oxide is sent to 1024 high intensity magnetic gravity separator for cleaning to select iron and mica, and then the material is sent to 1018 × 2 general magnetic separator to select iron and mica again;

D. Purification: the materials after gravity separation and general separation are sent to the high frequency vibrating screen for screening, and the iron oxide and iron oxide in the material powder are removed to obtain potassium feldspar fine powder;

E. Acid washing fine powder: sulfuric acid is used as acid washing agent to mix according to the concentration of acid and the iron content of potassium feldspar fine powder. When the concentration of sulfuric acid is determined, the iron content of potassium feldspar fine powder is directly proportional to the weight of sulfuric acid added. After acid washing, iron oxide and ferric oxide are completely removed, and ferrous sulfate solution is separated to obtain potassium feldspar fine powder;

F. Screening potassium feldspar concentrate: the potassium feldspar concentrate is sent to a 20-200 mesh sieve for screening, and the product with iron content less than 0.24% is screened.
